I got these pads to help me in roller derby.I had a few spills on my tailbone without the padding, and now I'll never go back.I researched many options out there -- trust me, there are cuter ones, but I'd rather have sturdy, reliable padding than just some extra cushion that other pads offered. And, you can cover these up with a skirt or shorts, if you are using it for derby.I don't come home with as many bruises and am grateful for the solid protection.
